Country Risk Level Information

Proposed travel by students/faculty/staff to countries or locations deemed High Risk (level 3 or 4) by the U.S. Department of State for safety or risk are subject to review by the Global Risk Assessment Committee.

If planning travel to any high-risk location, please allow at least 8-10 weeks for us to thoroughly conduct a risk and safety assessment and to have adequate time to present a petition to the Global Risk Assessment Committee. If your proposal is approved, only then will your insurance be processed. Incomplete requests may adversely affect the outcome of the risk analysis.  International Travel is defined by USF World as travel to any location outside the 50 United States and the District of Columbia; student related travel to international waters and U.S. Territories must be registered with USF World as well as travel to foreign countries.
