Ewha 2017 is offering two options for their summer experience!
Session 1: International Summer College - June 20 - July 18, 2017
Well-known for its strong academic program, Ewha International Summer College offers around 40 courses taught by professors from Ewha and other top foreign universities. Choose 2 courses from a full range of subjects, business and economics, history, gender studies, political science & international studies, Korean music & arts, Korean studies, social science, and Korean language. Courses are formed in small-medium size and seminar style. Take part in optional Friday field trips to get acquainted with Seoul city. Each course is worth 3 credits
Session II: Summer Special Program: Korean Language and Cultural Session - August 8 - 22, 2017
Beyond the academics, students are welcomed by opening & closing events and a number of field trips that complement their learning, all the while experiencing the exciting and diverse student life on campus and in Shinchon, Korea’s most vibrant campus town. Cultural program encompassing Korean language, specialized lectures and daily field trips Includes an overnight field trip to a Korean traditional village to experience local culture and cuisine

Financial Aid and Scholarship Funding
The Education Abroad Office offers Study Abroad Scholarships. These are partial scholarships awarded on a competitive basis to degree-seeking USF students. Please visit here for application information and deadlines. Please note that these scholarships are never guaranteed, and awards can only help pay for a portion of your total costs. We highly encourage you to apply to many other scholarships.

Health and Safety
Medical Insurance and Travel Documentation
USF provides program participants with sickness/accident and emergency medical evacuation insurance valid for the dates of the program. Those who will travel independently, either in advance of the program or after the program ends, must ensure that they have insurance coverage valid outside the U.S.
Students are responsible for arranging their own airfare to Japan.
Students should carefully review the Education Abroad Participant Contract, included in the Education Abroad application process. It describes students' responsibilities with regard to participation, and includes information on insurance, and cancellation and refund policies.
