KSU
Kyoto Sangyo University Summer Program
3 week program: June 5 - 23, 2017
2 week program: July 4 - 19, 2017
 
 
 

Program Overview

Kyoto Sangyo University is located in Kyoto City in an area filled with the beautiful nature of Japan. Kyoto is a city in which traditional culture and progressive academic studies coexist to produce great talent, unique industries, and global firms. Kyoto is a one-of-a-kind, innovative city.

The KSU Summer Programs Include:

  • Elementary & Intermediate levels of intensive Japanese Language classes 
  • Social events with KSU students
  • Cultural experiences – Martial Art, Tea Ceremony, Flower Arranging, etc. 
  • City Sightseeing with KSU students – visit UNESCO World Heritage sites and enjoy delicious local cuisine
  • Weekend tours – Rural Japan Tour or Lakeside weekend at KSU’s own seminar house.
  • Welcome and “See you again” Receptions
  • Comfortable and spacious self- serviced accommodation

Students will receive transfer credit from KSU that will be equal to FOL 2100 for 3 credits.

2-Week Program (July 4 - 19)
Students will receive transfer credit from KSU that will be equal to FOL 2100 for 2 credits.

Medical Insurance and Travel Documentation

USF provides program participants with sickness/accident and emergency medical evacuation insurance valid for the dates of the program. Those who will travel independently, either in advance of the program or after the program ends, must ensure that they have insurance coverage valid outside the U.S.
