June 5 - 9, 2018: Stuttgart

With a population of over 600,000 Stuttgart is the sixth largest city in Germany and the state capital of Baden-Württemberg. The city has 7 universities. After more than half the city had to be rebuilt after World War II it became a home to modern architecture including the notable Stuttgart City Library. The city is also a major historical center for the development of the automobile and today houses the headquarters of Mercedes Benz and Porsche. The local geography involves numerous valleys, hills, and vineyards avoiding the dense urbanization of a traditional industrial manufacturing city.

Neuschwanstein Castle
June 9 - 14, 2018: Munich

With a population of about 1.5 million, Munich is the third largest city in Germany. It is also the state capital of Bavaria and it's most populated city. Munich has a long history and today is a major metropolitan center within Europe. Also a tourist destination, the city is perhaps best known for its annual Oktorberfest.
