Developing a New Faculty Led Program

First Steps for your New Program

If you are proposing a new program, you will have to take an Intake Survey so we know how to categorize your program. The Intake Survey is a short set of questions that will determine credit status, budget and program content. Once the survey is completed, our Assistant Director will contact you with the next step. You can also see all the steps to completing a program by clicking on the Proposal Submission Steps to the right.  If you are from USF Sarasota/Manatee OR USF Health the process is slightly different, please follow the link(s) to the right.

Faculty Led Proposal Next Steps

The University of South Florida Education Abroad Office (EAO), in partnership with USF academic and administrative units and colleges, are strongly encouraging students to study abroad during their academic career. The faculty-led program model allows students to go abroad with a group of fellow students, with whom they can share the hands-on experience of doing activities they cannot do in an on-campus classroom. If you would like to facilitate a Faculty Led Program please find  a description of all our program options we currently offer in the links to the right.

Submitting a Proposal

Once our office knows what program type will best suit your study abroad experience, you will need to submit a proposal and other supporting documentation for approval. The links to the right will guide you through this process. If at anytime you are having difficulties please contact our office and we can assist.

Repeating your Program for the Following Year
