Program Dates

Please note that this site observes the Southern Hemisphere academic calendar. If you want to study for a full-year in the southern hemisphere, consider starting your program at the beginning of their academic year in February or March. Some institutions offer annual rather than semester courses. For southern hemisphere programs, ISEP benefits do apply during the recess between semesters (June-July), whereas they do NOT apply between the end of one academic year and the beginning of a new academic year (December to February-March).
Academic year: mid/late February to mid-November; Semester 1: mid/late February to mid-June; Semester 2: early July to mid-November.

Profile

Established in 1887, RMIT is a dynamic university of technology with several campuses based around Melbourne. Expert teachers, excellent facilities, and the latest technology equipment help students gain the most from the huge range of academic programs. Many RMIT academics are leaders in their industry, allowing students to gain insight into the latest developments in their chosen field.

RMIT is a highly internationalized university with over 8,000 international students from more than 100 countries. Overseas students are actively supported with a large range of support services, student organizations, and activities. Total enrollment: 56,000 students.

ISEP-Exchange programs allow students to participate in reciprocal exchanges with students at ISEP member institutions worldwide, while paying their home university tuition. Students attending US universities that are ISEP-Exchange members are eligible to apply for these programs at other international ISEP-Exchange member universities. Chances of placement vary by location.

ISEP-Direct programs allow students to enroll directly in a host institution abroad, instead of exchanging places with another student. Chances of placement are typically excellent for qualified applicants and some sites offer special academic programs and excursions. Students attending US universities that are either ISEP-Exchange members or ISEP-Direct members can participate in ISEP-Direct programs abroad.
