Semester exchange programs allow students the opportunity to earn USF college credit from a diverse set of subjects abroad, while still paying an equivalent to USF cost. Students are enrolled abroad and take classes, live, and socialize with local German and other international students, gaining a truly enriching experience and an in-depth cultural immersion for one to two semesters.
Exchange programs are competitive and students are encouraged to begin the application process early to better focus on their personal statement and gather the needed recommendations.
Uppsala is a world-class research university in Uppsala, Sweden. One of the main centers of higher education in Europe, the university rose to significance at the end of the 16th century. Uppsala is one of the oldest institutions in the Nordic Countries. With nine faculties distributed over three so-called disciplinary domains, Uppsala offers courses in Economics, Earth Science, and many other programs in English.
Since Uppsala is a bilingual university, students have a wide selection of English taught courses available to them. Be sure to select English as the language of instruction prior to searching for the subject you are interested in studying.
